About Us
Rooted in Pottsville since 1998
We started Leonard Trees with a simple belief: when you treat a tree right, it pays you back for decades. That philosophy hasn't changed.
Over a quarter-century ago, we began taking on small jobs around the Pottsville area — trimming a branch here, removing a hazardous tree there. Word spread quietly, the way good work does: neighbor to neighbor, property to property. Today, most of our business comes from referrals and repeat customers who've seen the difference between a crew that cuts and a crew that cares.
We're not a franchise. We're not answering to a corporate office out of state. Every estimate, every job site, every phone call goes through our Pottsville shop on Seltzer Road. That local presence means something — to the homeowners we serve and to the community we're part of.

Testimonials
What Pottsville homeowners say
Leonard's crew took down a massive dead elm that was leaning toward our garage. They made it look easy — no damage to the house, no mess left behind. I'd recommend them to anyone in the area.
They've been maintaining our property's trees for years now. Always on time, always fair-priced, and they actually know what they're doing with the older specimens. Rare to find that kind of skill.
After a bad storm took out three trees on our lot, Leonard Trees was out the next morning. They cleared everything, ground the stumps, and we couldn't tell the difference. Honest people doing honest work.
